Linux環境へのDPAサーバー機能導入手順

■概要
　本手順では、LinuxにDPAサーバー機能を導入する手順を紹介します。

■前提条件
　・既にリポジトリ用データベース製品が導入済であること
　・DPA製品モジュールは既に入手済みであること
　・#はrootユーザーのプロンプト、$はDPAインストールユーザーのプロンプト

■導入手順
　導入手順の流れは以下の通りです。

　1. DPA用OSグループ作成
　　DPA用OSグループを作成します。
　　既存のOSグループを利用することも可能ですが、本手順では新規作成することとします。

　　　# groupadd dpa

　　

　2. DPA用OSユーザー作成
　　DPA用OSユーザーを作成します。
　　既存のOSユーザーを利用することも可能ですが、本手順では新規作成することとします。

　　　# useradd -u <uid> -g dpa -m dpa

　　

　3. DPA製品モジュール転送
　　事前に入手したDPA製品モジュールをWinSCP等のファイル転送ソフトウェアでDPAサーバ上に転送します。
　　本手順では手順2で作成したDPAユーザのホームディレクトリ(/home/dpa配下)に転送したと仮定します。

　

　　4. DPAインストール
　　次の手順に従い、DPAをインストールします。
　　Linux版DPA製品モジュールはtar.gz形式で提供されます。

　　　　# su – dpa
　　　　$ cd /home/dpa
　　　　$ tar xfz <DPA製品モジュール名>
　　　　$ cd <解凍された製品ディレクトリ>
　　　　　→解凍された製品ディレクトリ内には以下のファイルが存在します。
　　　　　　　- dpa_YYYY_X_XXXX_x64_installer.sh
　　　　　　　- install.txt
　　　　　　　- readme.txt
　　　　$ sh dpa_YYYY_X_XXXX_x64_installer.sh　※YYYYは西暦、Xは製品バージョン
　　　　Verifying archive integrity… All good.
　　　　Uncompressing DPA 2022.1.7777 installation files….
　　　　Before installing and running DPA (Database Performance Analyzer), you must agree to the following
　　　　software license agreement (EULA).  Press [enter] to view the license…　★Enter
　　　　<ライセンス条項につき中略>
　　　　c 2020 SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. All rights reserved.
　　　　Do you agree with the license? [y/n]: y　★yを入力してEnter
　　　　If you are upgrading, verify that you have a license key for this product version before you upgrade. View your license keys in the
　　　　SolarWinds Customer Portal (http://customerportal.solarwinds.com/).
　　　　All customers under maintenance will have a key in the Customer Portal.
　　　　Press [enter] to continue…　★Enter
　　　　Please note the following before proceeding:
　　　　DPA is a web server.  You should install DPA on a server that:
　　　　  – has network connectivity to the Repository and the monitored databases, and
　　　　  – is available at all times (a laptop might not be a good choice), and
　　　　  – is not running applications where performance is critical.
　　　　Proceed with installation? [Y/n]: Y　★Yを入力してEnter
　　　　This script will extract DPA into a directory of your choosing.
　　　　The directory must already exist and must be writable by the current user.
　　　　DPA will be extracted into its own version-specific directory under the directory you enter below.  For example, if you enter “/home/solarwinds“ as the destination directory, DPA will be extracted into the directory
　　　　”/home/solarwinds/dpa_2022_1_7777″.
　　　　Enter destination directory for DPA [/home/dpa]:
　　　　★製品導入先を変更したい場合には変更先パスを入力
　　　　Please view the readme.txt for startup and upgrade instructions.
　　　　Once it is running, a wizard will walk you through creating a Repository and monitoring database instances.
　　　　DPA installation complete.　★本メッセージが出力されたらインストール完了

　

　　5. インストール後作業
　　監視ターゲットDBとリポジトリDBの文字コード差異を吸収するため、次の操作を行い、パラメータを変更します。
　　　　$ cd <製品インストールディレクトリ>/iwc/tomcat/ignite_config/idc
　　　　$ vi system.properties
　　　　　※コメントアウトされている次のパラメータを変更して保存する
　　　　　　# com.confio.doublebyte=false
　　　　　　　　　↓
　　　　　　com.confio.doublebyte=true

　

　　6. DPAプロセス起動
　　次のコマンドを実行し、DPAプロセスを起動します。
　　　　$ cd <製品インストールディレクトリ>
　　　　$ nohup startup.sh &
　　　　$ ps -ef | grep dpa
　　　　※以下のようなjavaプロセスが存在していれば、起動完了
　　　　dpa 2374 1 3 May17 ? 00:28:30 /home/dpa/dpa_2022_1_7777/iwc/jre_linux/bin/java -Djava.util.logging.config.file=/home/dpa/dpa_2022_1_7777/iwc/tomcat/conf/logging.properties -Djava.util.logging.manager=org.apache.juli.ClassLoaderLogManager -Xss300k -Xms256m -Xmx2048m -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -XX:-OmitStackTraceInFastThrow -Djdk.tls.ephemeralDHKeySize=2048 -Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=org.apache.catalina.webresources -Djava.awt.headless=true -Dignore.endorsed.dirs= -classpath /home/dpa/dpa_2022_1_7777/iwc/tomcat/bin/bootstrap.jar:/home/dpa/dpa_2022_1_7777/iwc/tomcat/ignite_config:/home/dpa/dpa_2022_1_7777/iwc/tomcat/ignite_config/lib/*:/home/dpa/dpa_2022_1_7777/iwc/tomcat/bin/tomcat-juli.jar -Dcatalina.base=/home/dpa/dpa_2022_1_7777/iwc/tomcat -Dcatalina.home=/home/dpa/dpa_2022_1_7777/iwc/tomcat -Djava.io.tmpdir=/home/dpa/dpa_2022_1_7777/iwc/tomcat/temp org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap start

以上でDPAサーバーの導入は完了です。
